The Elephant – Maxwell
The children were blindfolded, and Hans said, “It’s a tree!” while holding the elephant’s leg. “No,” says Lilli, “It’s a snake!” because she is touching the elephant’s trunk.
The big picture can be seen only by those who look at all points of view.

The Elephant – Maxwell
“Don’t be so intrusive,” says the elephant to the cow heron, which flies around him while catching insects in flight that want to settle on the elephant. “Can’t you get your meal elsewhere for once? Your fluttering around makes me nervous!” “Oh,” replies the heron, “I can do that, but you will miss me”. And before the elephant knows it, a swarm of insects approaches and envelops it in a grey cloud. “I don’t see anything,” the big animal shouts anxiously and waves around with its big ears. “Ok, I’ll help you,” says the conciliatory heron, “I’m not resentful. And anyway – we need each other”.
Together we are strong.
